Working closely with our partners at Allen Creative we were asked to install and maintain a new digital signage system at a number of Tescos store cafes across the country, to coincide with a major refitting campaign. Each cafe needed to have up to 9 large commercial monitors installed in the dining and serving areas, to display live menu information and special offers throughout the opening hours.
Each monitor was fed a video connection from a OneLan network media player, connected back to the stores intranet and the Allen Creative servers back in Hertfordshire. This allows for precise, instantaneous updates of all digital signage when changes need to be rolled out asap.
It was a massive undertaking, but we managed it! The stores currently using this system are – Gateshead, Consett-Genesis, Lincoln, Rochdale, Richmond, Rugeley, Stourbridge, Streatham, Sunderland, West Bromich, Wisbech, and Newry.
